2 August-- Day 39

Today after class, I went with a bunch of people to KaDeWe to eat. One guy managed to spend more than €20 on his swordfish lunch there. I was completely stuff aftter my €12 of food, so I supposed how expensive it really seems is probably based on how you like your food. Unfortunately, I took no photos of my food.... bummer.

And so then we were off to the Museum of Technology here. It's gigantic.

So basically, this was a museum of planes, trains, and automobiles, if you replaced automobiles with ships. They also had some pretty interesting exhibits on textile manufacturing, chemical engineering for medicine, film, photography, smithing. Very interesting-- wish we had left more time to see it properly.

Afterwards, went home. Today was the day that my host father was coming back. He'd been gone for a couple of years, working in korea, so it was a pretty big deal for the family to be able to see him. And that was pretty much all.
