7 Juli-- Day 13

During class, we were supposed to spew out 10 verbs out of 100 irregular verbs that were supposed to memorize (aka impossible), and class, we decided to go to Krumme Lanke (lake) to swim.

After class, got to the lake. Absolutely beautiful, and plenty of people sunning themselves. Google it, if you want a picture... I didn't take my camera. We went further in so that we didn't have to deal with all the people. About 6 of us went, and stood in the water, and talked, etc. Well 4 of us got in the water. Only me and another guy jumped into the water from a tree though (or actually swam into the water where we couldn’t stand) (it was a little chilly… big deal. Warmer than the LI Sound).

Technically, we signed a contract saying that we wouldn’t do dangerous stuff. Oh well, that contract’s broken. Jumped from a maybe 10-15 ft tall tree into a lake. (only after a beer (that I drank, (completely legally) in the water(!)) did I decide this was a good decision) So excellent. Almost as excellent as my grammar. I thought I was gonna die. We saw a guy jump from higher, and there was a wooden board nailed in where other people had presumably jumped, so we did. I’ll post pictures if anybody ever puts them up on facebook (aka never).

Went back, ate dinner.

I watched a bit of Spongebob and American Dad in Deutsch while eating. I have to say, I had a hard time with Spongebob- he talks so quickly, and about the randomest crap. There was one part that I could understand… something happened, and Plankton had created some massive highway system, presumably circumventing the Krusty Krab, and making all roads end at the Chum Bucket. Spongebob gets them to get rid of the highway system, and as he’s doing it, Plankton starts screaming “Mein Autobahnnnn!!!! Mein Autobahnnnn!!!!AHHHHHHH!!! Autobahnnnnnnn ……”

And because I didn't take my camera, but I refuse to have any days without photos...
