EDIT: I'm half caught up. Whee! Hopefully I'll have the chance to get everything all up to speed before I leave again this weekend. We're going to Lübeck and Hamburg as a group.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, it looks like there's a traffic jam here. Traffic is backed up until at least Monday-- headed to Bamberg, Bavaria with two lovely ladies!
For your entertainment, here's an interesting word.
So were were watching this really amazing movie, called Das Lebens des Anders, which I will tell you about later. Anyway, in it, there's a Stasi guy who's listening in on this guy's life.
So they show him typing up this formal report, and writes something along the lines of,
"They talk for a little while longer. Then, they presumably have intercourse."
One person found this particularly funny. Why? The word for sex, or rather, the act of, is Geschlechtsverkehr.
Literally, this can be translated as
Gender + Traffic
Geschlecht+ Verkehr
Mull on that for a little bit (preferably the entire weekend so I don't feel guilty hah)
Bis später (until later!)
caveat: Verkehr can also mean communications, commerce, etc, but these meanings aren't as funny, don't you think?
